Frequently Asked QuestionsSmoking is prohibited in the Nature Playground. Effective November 2, 2011, smoking within the Assiniboine Park Zoo will be limited to two designated smoking corrals located just off the main Zoo pathways. In addition, smoking within both the English Garden and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden is prohibited. There are no admission fees for Assiniboine Park, the Assiniboine Park Conservatory, or the Pavilion Gallery Museum. For admission fees for the Assiniboine Park Zoo please click here. Assiniboine Park is open twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year. Facilities such as the Pavilion, Conservatory, and Zoo have opening and closing hours that change seasonally. Please see our Attractions section for more information. Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are permitted at the Zoo. You may bring your own or we also have them available for rent. If you have lost or found an item in Assiniboine Park or Assiniboine Park Zoo, the item can be picked up or dropped off at Assiniboine Park's Central Lost and Found location at the Pavilion. For sanitary reasons, items such as sippy cups, and food will be disposed of immediately. Eagle feathers can be obtained by phoning Manitoba Conservation at 945-7749. Yes. No. Yes. All pets are welcome at Assiniboine Park, but they must be on leashes. Only service animals (seeing-eye dogs, etc.) are allowed in the Zoo, Pavilion, or Conservatory. The Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC) is a not-for-profit organization that is responsible for the operation of Assiniboine Park, the Assiniboine Park Zoo, the Assiniboine Park Conservatory, and all other public facilities located at the Park. The Conservancy is also responsible for establishing the future vision for the Park and carrying out this transformation while ensuring the Park's ongoing financial viability.
