Assiniboine Park Zoo Welcomes Tiger Cubs from Calgary Zoo

The Assiniboine Park Zoo is excited to announce the addition of two male Amur tiger cubs, Samkha and Vasili who arrived Friday from the Calgary Zoo. Born March 30, 2012, the cubs are almost full grown and were moved to Winnipeg on a recommendation from the Species Survival Plan (SSP) based on their genetics for future breeding.Read full release...
