WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE CONSERVATORY

Party in the Palm House! Garden Parties in mid-winter, wedding receptions in a tropical paradise, business meetings or family gatherings with a floral flair - an event in the Assiniboine Park Conservatory is a unique Winnipeg experience!

The Conservatory is available for private functions outside of regular opening hours. The Palm House, Floral Display Atrium, and Foyer Gallery offer a flexible venue with a beautiful botanical ambience.

Outdoor Weddings and Special Events may also be booked in the Formal Gardens at the South East Corner of Assiniboine Park. Click here for a map indicating designated sites and capacity. To reserve outdoor space for your wedding or event please call 311.

The Conservatory is yours for the evening starting at $427.00. Weddings and other photo opportunities can also rent the beautiful Floral Display Atrium, featuring a minimum of 10 different displays annually during public hours. For more information or to reserve your date, please call 311

2009 Conservatory Booking Fees (During Public Hours) for Ceremonies/Photography:

50 minutes: $102.00 + $5.10 GST = $107.10

75 minutes: $152.50 + $7.60 GST = $159.60

100 minutes: $203.00 + $10.15 GST = $213.15

Conservatory Booking Fees (After Public Hours) for Ceremonies/Photography:

Closing to 1:00 am: $407.00 + $20.35 GST = $427.35

Added Security Fee of $16.00 per hour for 100 people or less

Added Security Fee of $32.00 per hour for more than 100 people

2009 Summer hours are: Tuesday to Saturday - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and Sunday & Monday - 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

2009 Fall/Winter hours are: Sunday to Monday - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Our in-house catering can provide all the necessary requirements for any preference of reception selection. The Star Conservatory Restaurant also has a liquor license for the Conservatory.

TOURS & WEDDINGS AT THE LEO MOL SCULPTURE GARDEN

Tours cost $3.00 plus GST per person and may be arranged through Partners in the Park at (204) 953-4513.

Fees:

Wedding ceremony (including time to have your photographs taken and rehearsal time):
$375 plus GST. A $50 surcharge is applied for weddings that are after 6:00 p.m.

Wedding photos (only): $100 plus GST

The fee is non-refundable and payment in full must be received to confirm the booking.

50% will be refunded ONLY if cancellation is necessary due to rain.

There is no alternate location within the Garden in the event of rain you should make arrangements elsewhere as a precaution, such as the location of your reception.

Location in Garden:

The Arbour is the most popular location.

The grassy area in front of the Gallery Building can also be used.

Times:

Weddings/Wedding Photos can be booked any day Tuesday through Saturday between the hours of 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday times are 12 noon or 4:30 p.m. as there are weekly Jazz Concerts from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

2 hours are allowed per wedding, commencing ½ hour prior to the ceremony time. The reserved site is blocked (restricted) for a portion of that time.

Wedding Rehearsals:

Rehearsal times are included in the fee but should be booked preferably during regular hours so that staff are on hand to answer questions and advise of usual set up.

Services Provided:

Provide and set-up 85 black folding chairs. (if extra chairs are required, this is the client’s responsibility)

Table with white table cloth for signing the register.

Power access. (client’s responsibility to provide CD player or any sound equipment they require)

Signage will block the area indicating Wedding in Progress.

RENTALS AT THE PAVILION GALLERY MUSEUM

The Pavilion Gallery Museum has rooms for rent. (Audio/Visual equipment is available to rent)
