With acres of gardens and green space and a wide range of facilities and amenities, Assiniboine Park is the ideal venue for your next special occasion, roadway event or corporate function.

Booking Process

Picnic Area

To reserve a venue at Assiniboine Park, please review our rates, terms and conditions online, then contact the Assiniboine Park Conservancy Events Office at 927-6060 or events@assiniboinepark.ca

• Upon confirming your reservation, your invoice and contract will be sent to you by email.
• Payment is due immediately. Payment can be made over the phone by credit card (VISA, MasterCard accepted) or by cheque. Please make cheques payable to Assiniboine Park Conservancy (not Conservatory).
• Please note until we receive your payment and signed contract, your booking is NOT confirmed.

Venues & Rates

Numerous venues at Assiniboine Park can be reserved for private events throughout the year:

* Prices do not include GST and are subject to change. All fees are non-refundable.

Nature Playground: We are no longer booking private events at the Nature Playground Picnic Shelter so that it remains available and open to all visitors. If/when that policy should change, new information will be posted here. 

In Case of Rain

Please review our Terms & Conditions carefully. In the case of inclement weather, we will attempt to move you to another location in the Park, however we cannot guarantee that another spot will be available.

Receptions & Catering

From standing cocktail receptions to formal gourmet dinners, our in-house catering will work with you to create a reception that will satisfy both your palate and your budget. Reception rates vary and can be provided upon request.

Standing receptions can be held at all special event venues. Seated receptions can be accommodated at most venues with some exceptions. Receptions at the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden and the Formal Gardens can be arranged. Please see our Events web site for more information about reception options and capacity.

Notice:  The Star Conservatory Restaurant closed permanently on Sunday, January 22. All events and catering services booked through the venue will be fulfilled.
