PRESS RELEASE: PREMIER ANNOUNCES NEW HOME, NEW HOPE FOR POLAR BEARS

Polar-bear rehabilitation, research and public education will be the focus of the first-of-its-kind, world-class International Polar Bear Conservation Centre, Premier Greg Selinger said today during a snow-turning ceremony to announce $1 million in provincial funding for the Assiniboine Conservancy, the first part of a $31-million provincial commitment.
