Patent 5 Cocktail Workshop

Workshop - Patent 5 Cocktail Workshop

In this class, we'll teach you the basic techniques for crafting the perfect cocktail - shaking and stirring!

This guided and interactive mixology experience, led by Patent 5's bar manager Nick D., teaches you how to make three delicious cocktails, plus how you can shake up the classics to create something new. After this workshop you will be ready to navigate your way around a cocktail shaker.

In honour of Brasil Moderno - the new display at The Leaf - you will learn the techniques to create rum based cocktails - a delicious Pina Colada and the drink Brazil is famous for, a Caipirinha - which will use Patent 5's Aged Rum. We will also feature one gin-based drink in addition to the two rum-based cocktails.

Put the premixed bottles away and come join Nick in this tropical themed class. With his extensive experience in the cocktail world and specific passion for tropical drinks and flavors, he will guide you through making some classic favorites the way they were meant to be enjoyed.

All tools and ingredients required to make three cocktails are provided, plus recipe cards for the cocktails you make in class.

Must be 18 years or older to attend. You will have consumed three cocktails during the workshop. We encourage participants to plan for a designated driver, or taxi service to take you home.
