CBC original series Arctic Vets follows the team at Assiniboine Park Conservancy who dedicate their lives to rescue, protect and heal these animals when they are most in need. 

This show offers an up-close-and-personal look at nature’s most amazing creatures and follows the Assiniboine Park Zoo's veterinary, conservation and research, and animal care teams, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Canadian Arctic.

About Arctic Vets Season 2

Arctic Vets is back with a new generation of animal care experts who have dedicated their lives to traversing Canada’s frozen arctic to rescue, protect, and heal Arctic animals when they are most in need.

This season, Dr. Chris and the intrepid Arctic Vets team traverse the frozen North, expanding their reach to all-new locations alongside a team of new veterinarians, bringing viewers an even closer look at the work of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy.

Season 2 ushers in the next generation of ambassadors to the north, empowering them to take on the extraordinary mantle of preserving the Arctic through the rescue, care, and protection of the majestic creatures who call this region home. From emergency surgeries to training and enrichment to rescue, rehabilitation and release, the team works tirelessly to ensure these animals are getting the best care possible. Bringing viewers even closer to heartwarming and action-packed stories, this season spans the majestic Arctic and gives never-before-seen access to an amazing array of Arctic creatures.
