Information for Researchers

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy accepts proposals for research projects from external scientists.

We will consider requests for samples or data, as well as animal or visitor research. Each request will be evaluated to ensure it minimizes risks to animal or human subjects and contributes to our knowledge of species, understanding of how humans connect and learn at our Zoo, or wildlife conservation.

All applications are subject to an internal review in addition to your institution’s own review. When considering an application, please remember that animal and human welfare are our top priorities.
