You’re invited to join us in saying a fond farewell to Baffin and Siku, two of our amazing polar bear ambassadors who will soon be making a move to the Calgary Zoo.

Stop by, wish them well, and show them that Winnipeg will never forget them!

Sign the Farewell Photo Frames

Show your love for Baffin and Siku by writing a message and signing our framed photo frames!

Polar Bear Zoo Chats

Learn about our amazing bears and hear stories about Baffin and Siku from those who have worked closely with them over the years.

  • 11:00 am - at the polar bear viewing window along the pathway between the muskoxen habitat and Gateway to the Arctic
  • 1:00 pm - in Gateway to the Arctic

Polar Bear Enrichment

We’re preparing some special enrichment activities for Baffin, Siku, and the bears to enjoy, and you are invited to watch the fun!

Plus: Check out the Baffin and Siku memory reel at Gateway to the Arctic, pick up a commemorative button, and take your picture at our polar bear selfie station!
