Every year, a variety of fundraising walks, runs, and special events are hosted in the Park by not-for-profit and community organizations.

For safety reasons, some of these events require temporary road or pathway closures. Requirements vary depending on the type of event and the needs of the client. Closures are typically short in duration and limited to a couple of streets on the run route, so Park visitors can take alternative routes to reach their destination. Please be patient and kind to the staff, volunteers, and runners using the roadways to keep everyone safe.

The following list of upcoming events will be updated regularly from spring to fall.

All listed road closures are approved by the City of Winnipeg.

WFPS Run | October 18

• From 6:30 am - 12:00 pm, the Park entrances on Corydon Avenue, Roblin Boulevard, and Wellington Avenue will be impacted by the run. Please use alternative modes of transportation if you are looking to visit the Park.
