Shoreline Cleanup at Assiniboine Park
Help keep your Park beautiful! Join your community for a cleanup at Assiniboine Park.
Date: Sunday, May 28
Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: Check-in at the Cargo Bar, located near the Riley Family Duck Pond
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 30 minutes. Stop by anytime between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Kids are welcome to volunteer! Kids under 14 must have adult supervision.
- Volunteers will be provided with instructions, garbage bags, pickers, snacks, tea and coffee.
- Please bring your own gloves and water bottle.
- Water refill stations are located throughout the Park.
- Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.
- The event will proceed rain or shine and will only be cancelled in the case of extreme weather.
Please register in advance to help us plan for this event. Walk-ups are welcome.
