Zoo Lights takes place in the evening after the Zoo closes.

• TIMES: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm (final entry 8:00 - 8:30 pm)
• CLOSED: November 25, 26, December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 24, 25
• Sensory Night: Wednesday, December 11
• Adults-Only Night: Friday, January 3

All Ages 3+: $17.00 + GST
Children 2 and under: FREE

• Tickets are date and time specific. You must enter during the 30-minute time on your ticket, but can stay as long as you like (until closing).
• Please purchase tickets in advance online or in person at the Zoo entrance during daytime hours.
• Walk-up tickets are subject to availability. If you plan to purchase tickets upon arrival at the event, please check the capacity on our online web store to ensure there are still tickets available. If time slots are SOLD OUT online, there are no extra tickets available in person.

• Displays & Attractions: Our displays are brighter than ever! Between our newest displays, additions to the classic displays you already love, plus more to discover, there will be something dazzling for everyone to see with every step of Zoo Lights!
  
  
• DJ Booth: As you step into our magical wonderland, start on the right beat with our DJ playing music from 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm, featuring DJ GeNie, DJ FUZZY Paws, DJ MAJUICE, and DJ Q.
  
  
• Light Maze: Discover the magic of Manitoba's largest light maze!
  
  
• LOOP by Olivier Girouard, Jonathan Villeneuve and Ottoblix: Experience the innovative installation! This captivating exhibit blends art and technology, inviting you to engage with its dynamic design and interactive features.
  
  
• Photos with Santa: Come visit the holly jolly man in red in the Marquee Tent! Every night of Zoo Lights until December 23 (before he heads back to the North Pole!) you can get your photos with Santa from 5:30 - 9:30 pm. Please bring your camera or phone to take the photos.
  
  
• Zoo Lights Arcade: Get ready for an adventure in our outdoor arcade!
  
  
• Zoo Lights Express: All aboard! Check out our newest photo opportunity - our festive train light display, near Journey to Churchill.

LOOP by Olivier Girouard, Jonathan Villeneuve and Ottoblix is a co-production of Quartier des spectacles Partnership and Ekumen, distributed by QDSinternational.

Event Rules & Ticket Policies

Event Rules

• Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the Zoo and may result in removal from the site.
• Disorderly conduct will result in your removal from the site. This includes trespassing into restricted areas, unsafe or disrespectful actions towards animals, visitors, staff, volunteers or Zoo property.
• We are kindly asking visitors to refrain from dressing up as Santa or Mrs. Claus and engaging with other guests in character while attending Zoo Lights. All Zoo Lights entertainment, performers and activations must be approved, coordinated and overseen by our teams here at the Assiniboine Park Conservancy.

Ticket Policies

• Zoo Lights will proceed rain, snow, or shine. The Zoo will only be closed in the case of extreme weather. Notices regarding Zoo closures will be posted daily by 2:00 pm on our website.
• All guests, regardless of age, require a ticket in order to be counted toward our capacity. Tickets for children 2 years of age and under are FREE. Please add $0 infant ticket to your cart for each child aged 2 and under.
• Tickets are valid for one-time use on the specified ticket date & time. Guests must enter the Zoo within the 30-minute time frame indicated on their ticket.
• Tickets cannot be sold and will not be replaced if expired, destroyed, lost or stolen.
• Refunds will only be offered in the event of a Zoo closure.
• Tickets may be exchanged for a later date for a fee. (Please see our FAQ for more details)
• No re-entry. If you leave the Zoo, you will be unable to return.
• Entry is only via the main Zoo Entrance located at 2595 Roblin Blvd.

Zoo Lights is great for holiday parties, family events, and client giveaways!

Volume ticket pricing is available for groups of 25+.

• Single Tickets = $17.00 + GST per person
• 25-99 tickets = $15.30 + GST per person (save 10%)
• 100+ tickets = $13.60 + GST per person (save 20%)

Weather Policies & Cancellations

Zoo Lights will proceed snow, rain, or shine. The Zoo will only be closed in the case of extreme weather.

Cancellation notices will typically be posted here by 2:00 pm on the day of the closure. Ticket holders who have purchased online will be contacted by e-mail.
