The Kaleidoscope of Spring
March 27 - June 7
Celebrate our living display of spring as vibrant colours, light, and new life reflect and reveal a blooming prism of beauty. This display features blooming spring bulbs, such as allium, hyacinth, daffodils, and tulips, signalling the start of a new season.
A large garden Kaleidoscope invites visitors to observe plants in a brand new way, as natural patterns reflect and shift, creating a stunning rainbow of colour.
In the natural world, colour and light are inseparable. Plants harness pigments not just for beauty, but for survival, drawing in pollinators, shielding themselves from the sun, and fueling the growth that sustains all life. Throughout the display, suncatchers, glass ornaments, a glazing ball, and crystal prisms catch and scatter the season's rays. Explore the science hidden within each petal and learn how plants grow, survive, and reproduce.
Embrace the vitality of spring, and see how light, colour, and nature work together to keep our world blooming.
