Virtual Yoga Information:
Zoom is an amazing free app. You can practice with your cell phone, on your computer or even hook up to your tv for better viewing if you like. It gives the option to interact before & after class if you choose to. A link and instructions will be sent to your email a few hours before the first class.

Becky will be available 15 minutes before each class to chat, answer questions and support our amazing yoga community at Assiniboine Park. At the start of class, all microphones will be muted and class will begin. If you miss a class or would like to do the class again, a recorded class link is sent out the same evening, so you can practice at a time that suits you best.

To help monitor in-person class sizes with changing health guidelines, registered virtual yoga participants cannot attend a in-person class.

Don't have any yoga props? Get creative with couch cushions, a dog leash or belt for a strap, thick books for a block.

Mindfulness Flow Drawing Class | Thursday, Oct 14

Workshop - Mindfulness Flow Drawing Class | Thursday, Oct 14

Mindfulness Flow Drawing Class with Zephyra Vun

This is so much more than just a drawing class! Not only will you learn technical drawing skills, but also how to harness your flow, the psychological state of being completely present, where intention and intuition are harmoniously balanced and the mind and body are fully connected. This class will train your mind to connect to the present moment through drawing, to become more comfortable just being with yourself without distraction, and most importantly, to build trust in yourself and your instincts. Drawing (especially the two methods of drawing you will learn in this class) can be deeply meditative and therapeutic. By finding and harnessing your flow through drawing, we can learn to apply that same presence and mindfulness in our daily lives, tapping into our intuition and liberating our authentic selves.

There is absolutely NO drawing experience required for this class.

What you’ll learn:

  • Architectural Sketching - finding flow: speed, gesture, & trusting yourself!
  • Journey Drawing - visually manifesting your flow state.
