Red Panda

Diet: Primarily bamboo, but also eats fruit, nuts, roots, and eggs

Longevity in the wild: Approximately 8 years

Size: Body: 50 - 56 cm / Tail: 30 - 50 cm

Weight: 5.5 - 9 kg

Fun Fact: As red pandas mature, hair grows and covers their entire foot, including the foot pads! This helps to give them traction in order to walk on ice, or climb wet slippery branches.
