Standard sized MemoryStones at the Riley Family Duck Pond are currently being installed on a path on the east side of the pond, which approaches the Duck Pond picnic/ice skating shelter from behind.

The installation location for MemoryStones and ZooRocks is subject to change.
Will I get to see what my stone looks like before it is installed?

Will I be notified when my MemoryStone or ZooRock is installed?
Yes. Once the installation has taken place, you will receive an email or mailed letter with details regarding the exact location of your stone.
How will I find my stone once it is installed?

No. The installation of MemoryStones and ZooRocks is a construction site. Once the installation has taken place, you will receive an email with details regarding the exact location of your stone, so that you can find it at your leisure.
Can I choose the exact location of my stone?
We encourage you to choose only between the listed locations around the Riley Family Duck Pond, Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, or at the Zoo entrance. While we take requests for specific spots within those areas, we are not always able to accommodate them due to the large quantity of stones being put in on the day of installation. We do not install stones outside of the designated areas.
Can symbols or pictures be included on my MemoryStone or ZooRock?
A heart is the only symbol that can be accommodated on the stones, other than standard letters, numbers, and punctuation. If ordering online, you can enter a heart symbol as follows: <3
The heart appears as a true heart symbol on the stone.
Can I choose my font?
No. There is one standard font across all stones.
Will my inscription be centered?
Yes. Text is automatically centered on your stone.

Within a couple months of your order, a proof with your inscription will be sent to you for your approval or final changes. We will not install MemoryStones or ZooRocks that have not been approved. Installed stones will not be removed for changes or additions to the inscription. If the inscription wording has an error at the fault of Assiniboine Park Conservancy, or our inscriber, the stone will be replaced at no additional cost to you.
