Zoological Society Donors​

Prior to the establishment of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, the following donors made gifts to the Zoological Society of Manitoba in support of a future for polar bears in the Assiniboine Park Zoo. With the establishment of the International Polar Bear Conservation Centre and Journey to Churchill, that dream has become reality.

We respect our donors and their right to privacy. Our donor records are confidential. We do not share our lists. For those who choose to remain anonymous, that wish will be respected.

Gift Acceptance

As a registered charity, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy is obliged to record and acknowledge all gifts received in compliance with the Canada Revenue Agency Income Tax Act.


The opportunity to name a building, facility, exhibit, or area is important to some donors when making their giving decisions. The Assiniboine Park Conservancy seeks to provide recognition that is commensurate with donors’ philanthropic giving levels and is tailored to meet their needs.
