Kim Biaklowski has loved cooking and gardening since she was a child, and those passions came together many years ago, when she first taught herself to pickle, jam, and preserve the labours of the summers' work. She went on to launch 'Flora and Farmer', a gourmet preserves company, as well as 'Preserve', a storefront and facility dedicated to the production and sale of her preserves, as well as dozens of other local food companies products. After 10 years and many thousands of jars, she recently hung up her apron and has been spending her days digging in the garden, riding her bike and enjoying the local music scene.
