Join us for one, two, or all three upcoming workshops to explore different beading techniques and learn about art and Métis culture from Shannon. Skills learned in these classes can be used in a wide variety of beading projects and are helpful for progressing to more advanced beading workshops.

Learn the basics of beaded edging, which is often the finishing step of projects, or used on its own. Participants will have ample time to explore one-bead, picot, ladder edges and more, enjoy a cup of tea, and listen to Shannon discuss "What really is Indigenous art?"
SESSION TWO: NOVEMBER 10
Learn the basics of wrapped stitch (used to bead lanyards, necklaces, bracelets, hats, and more). Participants will have ample time to explore the technique, enjoy a cup of tea, and listen to Shannon discuss "Inspiration vs. Copying in Beadwork"
