The Leaf

The Leaf is a place for ritual, celebration, and ceremony where visitors can share the milestones of their lives in harmony with nature. The banquet hall can accommodate celebrations such as weddings, corporate events and meetings, anniversary parties, retirement parties, birthday parties, holiday parties, and more. The large gathering space looks over the lush, vibrant garden biomes, and provides a natural, tranquil environment through all seasons.

Biome Admission: Discounted admission to The Leaf can be purchased as an add-on experience for bookings at any of our indoor Park and Zoo venues. Tickets will be valid only on the day of your event and are subject to availability. Ask your Catering Coordinator for details.

The Pavilion

The Pavilion at Assiniboine Park, one of Winnipeg's most well-known landmarks, is available to host private events. Full of old world elegance and charm, the Pavilion offers beautiful views of Assiniboine Park and features a gorgeous exterior patio for summer occasions. Whether you are interested in a stand-up cocktail reception or a formal seated dinner, our banquets and catering team will work with you every step of the way to ensure each detail is perfect.

Qualico Family Centre

Celebrate amidst the incomparable freshness of nature! Nestled in oak and pine on the banks of the Riley Family Duck Pond, the Qualico Family Centre features breathtaking views of Assiniboine Park. It is the ideal venue for one-of-a-kind receptions, banquets, and flawless corporate functions.

Assiniboine Park Zoo

Plan your event at the only venue where you can add polar bears to the guest list! In Gateway to the Arctic, you'll dine under dancing northern lights and mingle with guests in Sea Ice Passage while polar bears and harbour seals swim overhead. In the Tundra Grill, your guests will feel like they have been transplanted onto the tundra as they enjoy views of the Zoo's largest polar bear exhibit through a 150-foot-wide wall of 9-foot-high windows.

Ceremonies at the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden

Brimming with vibrant flowers, lush foliage, tranquil pools, and stunning works of art, this serene garden provides a truly unique setting for your wedding ceremony or special event. One of the most beautiful venues in Winnipeg, the garden is available for private and semi-private functions, including wedding ceremonies and photography in every season.

Ceremonies at The Leaf

Gardens at The Leaf: Tie the knot outdoors, surrounded by lush plantings and the beauty of nature. The Grove, the Performance Garden, the Johnston Family Seasonal Garden, and the Kitchen Garden offer natural backdrops for your special moments. The Leaf: Create memories that last a lifetime in the warmth of the tropics. We are pleased to offer private and semi‑private bookings for small ceremonies inside the biomes at The Leaf. All ceremony requests must be submitted at least 15 days in advance, and are subject to availability.

Private bookings are available outside of regular operating hours: 7:00 am – 9:00 am and 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Semi‑private bookings are available during regular operating hours:
- Monday – Thursday, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
- Friday – Sunday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
