Putting Your Garden to Bed with Master Gardeners
Master fall gardening in a way that protects plants, supports pollinators, and reduces spring cleanup!
Join Assiniboine Park Master Gardeners to learn how to make the most of your fall garden by using leaves as a valuable resource rather than waste. Discover the benefits of leaving some garden areas undisturbed to provide essential overwintering habitat for pollinators and insects.
Participants will learn practical techniques for collecting and saving seeds, caring for spring-flowering bulbs, taking plant cuttings, and identifying tender plants that should be brought indoors before frost. Learn how to create a healthier, more sustainable garden while supporting local biodiversity throughout the changing seasons.
