Brew at the Zoo
Brew at the Zoo is an after-hours, adults-only event showcasing Manitoba’s craft brewers!
Enjoy samples of craft beer, cider, wine, ready-to-drink cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks from Manitoba, Canada, and around the world. PLUS: a live DJ, games, and a great atmosphere!

This event is for adults only, ages 18+. Please drink responsibly and get home safely.

- Stop by our Sensory Table to explore the grains, hops and spices that make your beer taste and smell so good! Plus, discover how different water conditions change the final brew. Step into tradition and better appreciate all the details in your pint!

We are excited to welcome food trucks to the Zoo for this event: Wagyu Wagon, G.G. Gelati, and Sol Food Truck!
Beer Gardens
Love what you sampled? Our Beer Gardens will be offering a selection of the products you've sampled to enjoy onsite.
Food is not included in the cost of admission. Premium tickets include a dinner voucher.
Policies
- Guests must be 18 and over. Photo ID is required.
- Tickets are date and time specific.
- No outside food or drink.
- The event will proceed rain or shine. It will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather.
- Umbrellas are not permitted. Bags are subject to search and only small bags are allowed on site.
- Last entry is at 9:00 pm. Last pour is at 10:00 pm.
- No re-entry. If you leave the event for any reason, you will be unable to return unless it’s for smoking or vaping.
- Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the Zoo. You may leave the Zoo to smoke or vape, and a staff member or volunteer will give you a stamp to allow re-entry.
- Disorderly conduct will result in your removal from the event without refund. This includes trespassing into restricted areas, unsafe or disrespectful actions towards animals, visitors, staff, volunteers, or Zoo property.
- Event entry is only via the Main Zoo Entrance located at 2595 Roblin Boulevard.
- Please drink responsibly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
We expect this event to sell out in advance. Tickets will not be available at the gate on the evening of the event.
I'm having ticket troubles! What do I do?
When you purchase tickets online, you will receive a confirmation email with your tickets attached. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk/spam or promotions folder. If you still don't see it, please e-mail info@assiniboinepark.ca or call (204) 927-6098 at your earliest opportunity so we can troubleshoot this for you in advance of the event.
When contacting us, please include your purchase details (purchaser name, date of purchase, quantity of tickets).
What is the weather cancellation policy for Brew at the Zoo?
Brew at the Zoo will proceed rain or shine. The Zoo will only be closed in the case of extreme weather. A closure notice will be posted on our website, Facebook, and Instagram by 4:00 pm on the day of the event. Ticket holders that have purchased online will be contacted by e-mail.
Can I smoke or vape at Brew at the Zoo?
No, the Zoo is a smoke free facility. This policy also applies to vaping. Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the Zoo. You may leave the Zoo to smoke or vape, and a staff member or volunteer will give you a stamp to allow re-entry.
Can I bring in outside food and drink?
No, outside food and beverages are not permitted. Reusable water bottles are permitted.
Can I see the Zoo animals during Brew at the Zoo?
The entire Zoo will not be open during this event as Brew at the Zoo takes place along a designated path within the Zoo.
If you are interested in seeing all the animals at the Zoo, come back during daytime Zoo hours of operation! The Zoo is open daily from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Can I purchase beer to take home from the breweries?
No, beer will not be available to purchase to take home. We encourage you to visit the breweries you sampled after the event!
