Valentine’s Day Dinner at Home
The Assiniboine Park Conservancy is pleased to present a special Valentine’s Day Dinner that can be enjoyed in the comforts of your own home. Chef Heiko Duehrsen and his talented culinary team have created a mouth-watering four course Parisian Bistro dinner menu inspired by one of the world’s most romantic cities! Prepared with tender loving care in our kitchens at Assiniboine Park, each dinner kit comes with simple instructions for reheating and serving a delicious meal at home.
$75 per person + taxes
MENU
First Course: Tarte au Chevre
Warm goat cheese and fresh thyme tart, aged balsamic and tomato confit with olive tapenade.
Second Course: Salade Nicoise
Seared yellow fin tuna, fine green beans, shaved fennel, tomato, radish, baby lettuces with Dijon caper vinaigrette.
Entrée: Shortrib Bourguignon
48-hour braised beef shortrib Bourguignon, caramelized shallot demi glace, roast squash puree, crispy parsnip.
Dessert: Mousse aux framboises et chocolat
Dark chocolate band with raspberry mousse on chocolate sponge with Valentine sugar cookie.
Vegetarian, vegan and dietary options are available upon request. Additional charges may apply.
HOW TO ORDER
- Dinner kits can be ordered by calling the Park Café at 204-927-6080.
- Orders will be accepted from Wednesday, February 2 – Friday, February 11 at noon.
- All orders are priced on a per person basis, please let us know how many people you are ordering for when placing your order.
- Payment by credit card must be made at time of ordering.
Orders will be available for pick-up on February 14 at The Pavilion (55 Pavilion Crescent) from 1 pm – 6 pm
