Camps alternate between two themes:

A ZOO WITH A VIEW (weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9)

“Honey, we shrunk the campers!” Oops, Doctor Zoolittle left the resizeinator on! With the click of a button, campers can shrink or grow to towering heights and see the world from a whole new point of view. We will explore the secret life of bugs and imagine what it would be like to tower over polar bears and other mighty creatures. From these new perspectives, we will learn how animals of all shapes and sizes adapt to survive and thrive in the wild and what we can do protect them and their environments.

ZOOTROPOLIS (weeks 2, 4, 6 and 8)

We have some new keepers in town! Our new recruits will go behind the scenes, meet our animal care specialists, and learn what it takes to care for animals and run a zoo. Our buzzing Zootropolis is divided into distinct habitat districts. Our keepers in training will explore these various habitats and discover amazing facts about the animals that live there. Our future keepers will also work on exciting projects that help animals in our Zoo and the wild.

Daily activities include:
• Hands-on animal experience
• Visit to the Polar Playground (Zoo) or Nature Playground (Park)
• Zookeeper talk

Weekly activities include:
• Behind-the-scenes Zoo experience
• Creation of enrichment items for Zoo animals
• Visits to other Park attractions including the gardens, forest trails, and Riley Family Duck Pond
• Water games!
