Wild Range: Native to East Africa, but is invasive in most tropical regions such as the Caribbean, Pacific Islands, South and Eastern Asia, and even Florida!

Diet: Herbivore, feeds on more than 500 types of plants

Longevity in the wild: 5-7 years

Size: 19.8 cm

Weight: Approximately 32 grams

Fun fact: The giant African land snail deposits up to 500 eggs each reproductive period, which occurs every 2 to 3 months.
