Reconnect with nature and discover the healing power of plants. The Leaf Unplugged offers a calming, adults-only experience for you to unwind, meditate, and relax.

Dates: Wednesdays, February 4, March 4, April 1, and May 6
Times: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Bring your yoga mat or your book and step away from the constant buzz of technology and the demands of daily life. Visitors are encouraged to disconnect from their phones for a truly immersive experience. Join us at The Leaf and experience the art of truly unplugging.

Each evening features a gentle yoga wellness practice to enhance your restorative experience. All sessions are led by Rebecca Watson.

Please bring your yoga mat, blanket and any yoga props you’d like to support your practice. Wear comfortable clothing, pack water or tea to hydrate, and bring a warm layer of clothes. Come as you are, no experience necessary. We welcome everyone.

February 4 - GROUNDED
Sessions begin at 7:00 pm, 7:45 pm, and 8:30 pm
Experience a grounding, slow flow practice that invites the elements of the earth (bhumi). Lean into the support of the earth, press pause on your busy week, and create space within the mind, body, spirit, and heart. 

March 4 - ANCHOR
Sessions begin at 7:00 pm, 7:45 pm, and 8:30 pm
Join us for deep breath work (pranayama), nervous system regulation techniques, and gentle movement to invite spaciousness, and ease into your life off the mat.

April 1 - RELEASE
Sessions begin at 7:00 pm, 7:45 pm, and 8:30 pm
Release stress and tension through this restorative practice and rest meditation (nidra). Soften into restorative poses to invite deep relaxation and end with a guided rest meditation.
 

This event is for adults only, ages 18+. Guests are asked to keep talking to a whisper so as not to interrupt the peaceful experience we are promoting.

About Rebecca Watson
Rebecca Watson has been sharing her yoga practice in Winnipeg and surrounding areas since 2011. Her yoga journey began 20 years ago as a way to shift her energy, create space where she felt stuck, and come home to herself on her mat. She teaches vinyasa flow, yin, restorative, prenatal, meditation and more. Her intention for every practice is to allow you the opportunity to breathe, release, create space, and drop into your body.
