During Zoo summer camp, campers will have a daily encounter with either one of our ambassador animals or a behind-the-scenes experience. Plus, an animal care professional will be available to answer every question your camper has (and don’t worry, they can take on your kid’s 100th question.)
Fostering a new generation of green thumbs
If you can’t get your little gardener out of your veggie patch, have them come visit ours at Leaf summer camp! They’ll learn about how food grows and have all their questions answered by one of the members of our gardening team.

One of the great things about Assiniboine Park is it’s a beautiful 400-acre green space right in the middle of Winnipeg! Our camps are primarily outdoors, so if your camper loves being outside but you just can’t swing having camp outside the city, bring them here and they’ll get all the fresh air they could want.
