Located at the Zoo entrance at 2595 Roblin Boulevard, Wild Things offers a variety of Zoo souvenirs, art, clothing, and collectibles. Accessible with or without Zoo admission, Wild Things also boasts a wide and ever-changing selection of fashion accessories, jewellery, seasonal home decor and more! 

The Leaf Gift Shop

Daily: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm*

This cozy retail kiosk offers a curated selection of unique, handmade items that connect people to nature. Browse our selection of of locally made products including Indigenous artwork, gorgeous exclusive jewelry, skin and body care, housewares like candles, drinkware, baskets, and birdseed, food and beverages like coffee, tea, and preserves, and more. We support independent makers, female-led businesses, Indigenous artists, and companies that prioritize sustainability. Accessible with or without admission to the biomes.

Gift Cards

Gift Card System Transition Notice

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy transitioned to a new gift card system on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

What this means for you:

  • Service has resumed: Gift card use and purchases were briefly paused during the transition and have now resumed at the locations listed below.
  • Your balance is safe: All existing gift cards and balances were successfully transferred to the new system, including both physical and e-gift cards. No action is required on your part.

Gift Card Purchases

    • In-person: Physical gift cards may be purchased at the following locations:
      • Assiniboine Park Zoo
      • The Leaf
      • Assiniboine Park Pavilion
    • Online: We are building a new, customized online gift card experience. In the meantime, you can purchase Zipthru e-gift cards through a temporary site managed by our partners at Compass Group Canada. These cards are fully valid and redeemable at all participating Park locations. Our new online gift card site is expected to launch in June. We recommend waiting until the new site is live before registering your e-gift card.

    • Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar
  • Park Café
  • Assiniboine Park Pavilion

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for online purchases.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions

The value of your card will not be replaced if the card is lost, stolen, or destroyed. All sales are final. You may not return, cancel or redeem for cash any Gift Card after it is purchased. Use of your card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
