Indigenous Peoples Day

Join us at Assiniboine Park on Sunday, June 22 for a day filled with music, entertainment, and fun in recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day. All activities take place at the outdoor Gardens at The Leaf and inside The Leaf classroom.

Workshops take place at the Tannis M. Richardson Classroom inside The Leaf |
1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm | Garden Tours hosted by the Assiniboine Park Education Team. Limit 20 people. Tours begin at the Fire Node in the Indigenous Peoples Garden |

* Summer Fisher is Anishinaabe from Nipissing First Nation. During her time residing in Winnipeg, she enjoys sharing her teachings and knowledge with people of all ages.
