Join us for an evening of botanical bliss at The Leaf After Dark! Enjoy a relaxing adults-only atmosphere complete with live musical entertainment.
Enjoy full‑service bars hosted by Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar inside the biomes, offering a thoughtfully curated selection of wines, craft cocktails, mocktails, and beers from Nonsuch Brewing.
Grab a glass of wine and let the lush greenery and starlight guide you on a stroll through The Leaf!

Musical Guest: Chickadee
Hours: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Chickadee is a jazz quintet led by bassist Fred Warner. Drawing on both jazz and folk traditions and inspired by the beauty and tenacity of nature, Chickadee aims to be eclectic, experimental, and exciting. Just like its namesake, Chickadee is always active and always looking for the 'next thing'; one moment funky, the next introspective, and the next jubilant.
May 27 - Pride Edition
Hours: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for a special evening celebrating Pride month! 15% of admission sales at The Leaf on May 27 will be donated to the Rainbow Resource Centre and Sunshine House.
- Local drag performers and a live DJ will bring the energy using biomes at The Leaf as their stage!
- Enjoy live music from Hera, an artist who blends pop, jazz-funk, and R&B influences with a twist of drama from Original Pilipino Music.
- A special Pride-themed cocktail and mocktail will be available to purchase inside the biomes at The Leaf, and at Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar.
- Express yourself at our colourful face painting station, and make Pride-themed crafts in the Tannis M. Richardson Classroom (available for all ages without admission to the biomes).
Due to capacity limits and the high level of interest in these events, please purchase tickets online in advance to reserve your visit and do not rely on walk-up availability.
Tickets will be available for purchase 90 days in advance.
