Behind the Scenes Zoo Experiences

Enjoy a once in a lifetime behind the scenes experience at Assiniboine Park Zoo! Join our educators and animal care professionals for a memorable experience that brings you up close with some of the Zoo's most charismatic creatures.

Dinosaurs UnCovered

Dinosaurs UnCovered opens on May 17. This larger than life exhibit features 17 animatronic dinosaurs along a forested trail. You'll meet dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods including the fearsome Tyrannosaurs Rex and feathered Dakotaraptor. 

Survival of the Slowest

Survival of the Slowest opens on May 17. This interactive indoor exhibit looks at the often overlooked species that have used their disadvantages to help them survive - and even thrive - in a world where large, strong, and fast animals are often the top of the food chain.
