Basics: This perennial produces a striking yellow flower, spanning 5 cm across and growing 30 –60 cm tall. It will be one of the first flowers to bloom in your garden during the late spring, and, with proper plant care, can last until late summer.

Habitat: They are native to North America, primarily found in the prairies, spanning across the USA.

Growing in your garden: Coreopsis grandiflora is a great choice for gardening beginners, as it is easy to grow and very hardy. They prefer full sun, dry to medium watering, and are drought-tolerant. Tickseed Early Sunrise is also a great pollinator-friendly flower to have, and unappetizing to deer and rabbits.
