In July, we welcomed Suwanto, the fourth offspring of Maya and Samson. They were matched in 2017 on a recommendation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Species Survival Plan® Program, which helps maintain healthy populations of animals in human care, many of which are species at risk.
Along with older sister Maavi, the family is settling into life together. While Suwanto still spends much of his time clinging to Maya and nursing, he's already showing plenty of curiosity about the world around him.
