Harbour Seal

Conservation Status: Least Concern (IUCN)

Wild Range: Temperate and polar coastal waters of the Northern Hemisphere

Diet: Generalists - their diet consists of fish, cephalopods (such as squid), and crustaceans

Size: Males: 1.6 - 1.9m; Females: 1.5 - 1.7m

Weight: Males: 70 - 150 kg; Females: 60 - 110 kg

Adult harbour seals can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes!
