The Leaf

Head to The Leaf, Assiniboine Park's spectacular indoor horticultural attraction. Wander through four stunning indoor biomes and experience the beauty of the Shirley Richardson Butterfly Garden, where beautiful butterflies flutter among lush tropical plants. Enjoy our beautiful interpretation of a picnic outdoors at our summer display, Prairie Picnic, until September 13.

Then step outside to explore the Outdoor Gardens at The Leaf. The Kitchen Garden is filled with fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers carefully tended by our horticulture team. The produce grown here is harvested weekly and featured in dishes at Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar, creating a truly local garden-to-table experience.

Refuel at the Park

While you're out in the Park, make sure to stop by our favourite spots to refuel!

If you're looking to enjoy one of Winnipeg's most unique dining experiences, head to Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar for delicious food and handcrafted cocktails.

The menu showcases fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients, many inspired by what's growing right here in the Park. Drawing from diverse culinary traditions and global flavours, each dish is thoughtfully crafted to celebrate the connection between food, culture, and nature.
