All aboard, the train’s ready to go to a town where Halloween spirits roam! Welcome to a mysterious land where fall festivities are in full swing. Pumpkins glow, phantoms dance, and new secrets are waiting to be uncovered around every corner.

NEW FOR 2025: The Zoo has been transformed into the mysterious and magical town of Spookyville. Explore the Mansion of Haunt, Hexmore Academy, Spookyville Jail, and more! This Halloween town is yours to discover, guided by a cast of curious and charismatic characters.

Boo at the Zoo takes place in the evening after the Zoo closes. 

Mondays & Tuesdays: Closed
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm (final entry 7:30 pm)
Fridays & Saturdays: 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm (final entry 8:30 pm)

Boo at the Zoo: After, After Dark (18+) - Friday, October 31
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm (final entry 8:30 pm)

Ticket Information and Policies

Ticket Information

• Tickets for Boo at the Zoo are date and time specific. You must enter during the 30-minute time on your ticket. You can stay as long as you like (up until closing time).
  
  
• Please purchase tickets in advance online or in person at the Zoo entrance during daytime hours.
  
  
• Walk-up tickets are subject to availability. If you plan to purchase tickets upon arrival at the event, please check the capacity on our online web store to ensure there are still tickets available. If time slots are SOLD OUT online, there are not extra tickets available in person.
  
  
• Rides are included with your ticket with the exception of Boost Your Boo activities.

Ticket Policies

• Boo at the Zoo will proceed rain, snow, or shine. The Zoo will only be closed in the case of extreme weather. Notices regarding Zoo closures will be posted daily by 2 p.m. on our website.
  
  
• All guests, regardless of age, require a ticket to be counted toward our capacity. Tickets for children 2 years of age and under are FREE.
  
  
• Tickets are valid for one-time use on the specified ticket date and time. Guests must enter the Zoo within the 30-minute time frame indicated on their ticket.
  
  
• Tickets cannot be sold and will not be replaced if expired, destroyed, lost, or stolen.
  
  
• Tickets purchased on the webstore can transferred to another date or time for an exchange fee.
  
  
• Refunds will only be offered in the event of a Zoo closure.
  
  
• No re-entry. If you leave the Zoo, you will be unable to return.
  
  
• Disorderly conduct will result in your removal from the site. This includes trespassing into restricted areas, and unsafe or disrespectful actions towards animals, visitors, staff, volunteers, or Zoo property.
  
  
• Costumes are welcomed and encouraged for guests of all ages! Please leave prop weapons, like swords, at home. Visitor Services will give guests an option to leave props in their vehicle or use a “coat check” to leave items for same day pick up when leaving for the night.
  
  
• Entry is only via the main Zoo Entrance located at 2595 Roblin Blvd.

Event Rules

• Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the Zoo and may result in removal from the site.
  
  
• Disorderly conduct will result in your removal from the site. This includes trespassing into restricted areas, and unsafe or disrespectful actions towards animals, visitors, staff, volunteers or Zoo property.
  
  
• Costumes are welcomed and encouraged for guests of all ages! Please leave prop weapons, like swords, at home.

Volume Tickets

Boo at The Zoo is great for celebrations, staff appreciation, and client giveaways!

Volume ticket pricing is available for groups of 25+.

• Single Tickets = $17.50 +GST
• 25-99 Tickets = $15.75 +GST (save 10%)
• 100+ Tickets = $14.00 +GST (save 20%)

Parking

Parking in front of the Zoo is limited. Please consider carpooling, active transportation, or public transportation.

A FREE Park & Ride Trolley will be available on Fridays and Saturdays to transport guests to and from overflow parking locations. Trolley hours of operation: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Weather Policies and Closures

Boo at the Zoo will proceed rain, snow, or shine and only be cancelled in the case of extreme or hazardous weather.

While the event may remain open, rides may close temporarily during high winds or rain. 

Cancellation notices will typically be posted on our website and Instagram Stories by 2:00 pm on the day of a closure. Ticket holders who have purchased online will be contacted by e-mail.
