Journey into Spookyville!

NEW for 2025: The Zoo has been transformed into the mysterious, mystical town of Spookyville! Journey through unseen lands, and explore brand new haunts. You can expect new spooky sights this year at Boo at the Zoo. Explore Broomstick Bay, Spookyville Jail, Hexmore Academy, the Mansion of Haunt, and much more! 

Feeling brave? Take a stroll into The Hallows! This NEW adventure is spookier than most and best suited for the most brave souls, as The Hallows will give you an extra fright! Spooky secrets lay in the shadows and a headless horseman awaits you at the end ... if you dare!

You favourite rides and performers are back! Guests of all ages are invited to have a ghostly good time at the annual fair, where you'll enjoy fun rides all included with admission. Watch for jaw-dropping performances pop-up throughout your journey. 

Boo at the Zoo is a family-friendly event. The Zoo will be transformed into a spooky (but not too spooky) Halloween extravaganza. While some displays may be frightening or surprising for younger children, there are no jump scares at Boo at the Zoo. Please note that October 31 is an 18+ adults-only evening.

Boo at the Zoo: After, After Dark 18+ Night

Get your boo crew together and join us for some thrills, chills, live music, and a whole lot of fun on Halloween night for Boo at the Zoo: After, After Dark, our adults-only night!

Take part in everything Boo at the Zoo has to offer - but with more scary sights (but as always, no jump scares at Boo!)

Date: Friday, October 31
Time: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm (final entry 8:30 pm)

Rides

The annual fair is located at the end of the loop through the Zoo.

There’s a ride for every age and preference – from the thrill seekers to our littlest ghoulish guests. This year, we're excited to welcome back the ferris wheel and carousel! Plus, enjoy a new ride best suited for toddlers. 

Rides are included with your ticket to Boo at the Zoo.

Boost Your Boo!

Spooky Sketches: Capture your spirit with our Caricature Artist, located just outside Tundra Grill. Our talented artist will transform your costumes and expressions into whimsical drawings. Each drawing accommodates up to two people. Limited availability per night. $30 + taxes

Monster Makeovers Facepainting: Our expert artists will begin your transformation into a spooky or sweet character of your choosing! Limited availability per night. $5 + taxes

Food & Beverage

From tasty treats to hearty meals, to drinks that chill and give you the feels, Boo at the Zoo has all you need - food and fun for every taste you seek!

Enjoy full service meals at the Tomb-dra Grill (Tundra Grill), plus snacks, treats, grab and go items, and more spread along the event route. Hot and cold non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available throughout Boo at the Zoo.
